Do you have some old books that smelly musty? Perhaps they’ve been kept in boxes for years.
Fear not, there’s a quick and easy solution. Simply pop each book in a freezer bag that has some bicarbonate of soda already in it. A typical A5 size book would require about 3 tablespoons of bicarb. Leave for at least 24 hours, although particularly old and musty books may take much longer.
The same principle could be applied to other old items such as cuddly toys or purses.
